Job Overview: In this roleyoull apply your engineering skills and knowledge to enhancemanufacturing operations. From conducting feasibility studies andmanpower estimates to recommending design improvements you willwork independently and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.The position emphasizes problemsolving continuous improvement andeffective communication with all levels of theorganization.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Apply engineering theories and concepts to meetbusiness objectives.
  • Conduct feasibilitystudies cost estimates and develop engineering criteria forprojects.
  • Perform design analysis and presentoptions for structures systems andcomponents.
  • Lead and participate in teambasedprojects ensuring timely results andoutcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for processand product improvements using Leanprinciples.
  • Independently develop engineeringapproaches and solutions to complexproblems.
  • Work with supply chain teams toanalyze cost and value streamcapabilities.
  • Provide tooling specificationsfor both manual and automated metalprocessing.
  • Manage project proposals andbudgets ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.
  • Present engineering solutionsclearly to team members and management.

RecommendedQualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering from anaccredited institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years ofengineering experience in a manufacturingenvironment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge andhandson problemsolving abilities.
  • Expertise inLean manufacturing principles and continuous improvementprocesses.
  • Familiarity with metal processingtechniques and toolingspecifications.
  • Knowledgeable in blueprintreading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning andTolerancing).
  • Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision.
  • Strong communicationskills and ability to collaborate with teams across variousdepartments.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Experience managing engineering projectsincluding budget proposals and .
  • Proficiency inboth manual and automated metal formingprocesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to pivot inresponse to changes in project requirements or businessneeds.
  • Familiarity with supply chain costanalysis and economic principles related tomanufacturing.
