General Description:
This is a part-time instructional assignment under the general direction of the Dean of Science, Math and Engineering. The professor may teach all levels of biological sciences. The maximum teaching load is 10 units per semester, which may include evening and weekend hours.
Examples of Duties
Required :
Master's in any biological science from an acceptable accredited institution OR Bachelor's in any biological science AND Master's in biochemistry, biophysics or marine science OR Community College Instructor Credential OR The equivalent Promote and incorporate culturally affirming DEIA and anti-racist principles to nurture and create a respectful, inclusive, and equitable learning and work environment. In conducting their duties, staff members shall respect and acknowledge the diversity of students and colleagues. Preferred: Minimum of one year of community college teaching experience in human anatomy or human physiology Current technology skills related to teaching in the discipline and a willingness to pursue future technological developments
