Clerical Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly responsible Clerical Specialist to support the Third Circuit Court’s administrative and customer service needs. This role involves completing a variety of critical clerical assignments and assisting customers by processing various requests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex clerical assignments, such as preparing memos and letters, data entry of court case information, and managing spreadsheets and vital statistic documents.
- Assist customers by processing requests via mail, phone, and in person, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Accurately enter court case information into the Odyssey case management system.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the Clerk's Office.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Ability to multitask, maintain files, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the legal field, with the capability to perform clerical duties accurately and in accordance with office and legal standards.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Candidates must complete tasks promptly upon receipt each day.
- Successful candidates will undergo a fingerprinting process prior to onboarding for access to the Third Circuit Court’s Case Management System.
After completing 720 hours of straight-time work, temporary employees may apply and interview for a permanent position with the County’s Clerk's Office at no additional charge to the County.
Compensation
- Annual Salary: $38,376
