A Day in the Life

2nd shift: Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have
Experience with BAS systems Inspect, repair, modify HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, forced air converter units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves , refrigerators, freezers Ability to use multi meter to troubleshoot incoming power and low voltage controls EPA universal certification Ability to sweat , braze and pro-press pipe Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings Familiar with chiller plant/cooling tower operation and water treatment Be on call every eight weeks 24/7 which could include holidays.
