We are seeking a motivated and experienced QA Manager to join our team. SCHEDULE
Four 10-hour days, with occasional weekend work depending on workload
DUTIES
- Play a key role in maintaining SQF certification for the company, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Work closely with documentation and regulatory issues to ensure all procedures are followed accurately
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Department, ensuring that quality control procedures are consistently implemented and followed
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Quality/Food Safety Department
- Analyze data and generate reports for senior management to facilitate decision-making processes
- Maintain instrumentation records and ensure preventive maintenance is performed regularly
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science in a related field or 5+ years of experience in a quality management role within the food and beverage industry
- HAACP and SQF certification preferred
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed
