The position involves providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. This includes responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and implementing solutions. The rate range for this position is $30 - $35 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Offer technical assistance and support for inquiries and issues regarding computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries in-person or over the phone and write training manuals.
  • Train computer users and maintain the daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages from customers seeking help and ask questions to determine the nature of the problem.
  • Guide customers through the problem-solving process and install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Clean up computers and run diagnostic programs to resolve issues.
  • Address technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users and follow up to ensure the issue has been resolved.
  • Gather  feedback from customers about computer usage and run reports to identify  ongoing malfunctions.
