The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician. Follows defined treatment protocol according to department policies. Collects, assesses, interprets, and intervenes as appropriate in the care of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Ensures patient welfare and safety standards during treatments.
Schedule : This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the day shift. This position will also have a 2 out of 6 weekend rotation.
- Seeking candidates with PFT experience as this role will be tasked with working a minimum of 1 shift in the PFT lab every other week.

Responsibilities Job Description
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:
Assessing patient needs and identifies expected outcomes. Implementing Respiratory interventions based on plan of care. Evaluating care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes. Delivering care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient. Using communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes. Operating and maintaining all Respiratory Care equipment.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Education Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field License/Certification/Registration Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical PracticeCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) with 3 or more years of respiratory therapist experience in clinical settingBasic Life Support (BLS) certification Additional Requirements (must be obtained and maintained) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hirePediatric Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hireAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hirePreferred Qualifications:
