Job Family – Creative & Design

AECOM is seeking a well-versed Creative / Graphic Design Specialist II to be part of our brand ambassador efforts throughout the United States.

The successful professional will perform creative and graphic design tasks to deliver a range of outputs that effectively convey a message and capture the attention of our intended audiences.

This role is public involvement focused with materials designed to reach clients, media, stakeholders and the public. This high-visibility role involves a broad mix of design software and technology to create online and offline designs including printed brochures, meeting displays and boards, web graphics, presentations, reports and other collateral.

The selected professional will be an ambassador for the {URL} brand and its usage.

The selected professional will involve promoting and delivering some of the most high-profile engineering projects in the United States, this is an opportunity to work on major transportation plans involving state Department of Transportation (DOTs) across the country, and public meetings for large cities and for transit agencies. These projects include:

  • I-820 in Fort Worth,
  • City of Madison Transit Initiative.
  • DART in Dallas, Texas.
  • COTA in Columbus, Ohio.

  • Be the brand police (but the cool kind) – keep our creative work in line and show the newbies how it's done
  • Juggle projects like a circus pro and hit those deadlines with style
  • Be the design wizard for our work-winning teams, sprinkling your expertise to create digital and printed magic
  • Take the design rookies under your wing and show them the ropes

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Must have flexibility with work hours which may involve 2-3 nights per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Digital Design / Graphics
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a must.
  • Must be well versed in Powerpoint and possess expertise with Microsoft Word & Office Suite usage.
  • Must possess strong graphic design skills including styles and automated file set up.
  • Ability to integrates with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, marketers, and developers, to ensure creative work aligns with project goals and client needs
  • Familiarity with 508 compliance a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

  • Offered rate of compensation (Columbus, Oh) area only will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000.
