Primary Role

Experienced professional in SAP RTR core and extended configuration who can work with teams of individuals on a day-to-day basis.

  • Should have strong experience in design and configuration of SAP Finance and Controlling modules.
  • Provide SAP Best Practice knowledge to aid in the design processes. He / She will perform the necessary configuration to convert the requirements into a business solution.
  • Experience with all phases of an implementation including business process blueprint, detailed design, configuration, testing, and support.
  • Work with the business to gather requirements, develop proof of concepts for new technologies/solutions, and suggest business process improvisation to reduce complexity in custom application.
  • Analyzes existing custom developments, objects, and modifications, and evaluates the impact of changes on them.
  • Lead projects that execute against this roadmap. This includes development from concept through realization including enhancements, new modules / systems / solutions, quality improvements and productivity improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of custom applications that serve the specific process areas, domains or lines of business aligned to their expertise.
     
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in SAP FICO preferably Utilities industry.
  • 5+ years’ experience in S/4 HANA.
  • Should have proven working knowledge of SAP FICO including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger.
  • Accounting, Controlling, Intercompany Process, Automatic Payment Run and Payment Requests, EBS. 
  • Strong experience in implementing SAP FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) including In House Cash and Treasury and Risk Management.
  • Strong experience in Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Allocations.
  • Strong experience in Project Accounting.
  • Strong experience in SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management.
  • Strong experience in implementing User exits, BAdI, researching OSS Notes and working with LSMW and LTMC.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of FI Integration with Contract Account Receivables (FICA), HTR, SD and MM, EAM),3rd Party Tax systems (Sabrix/One Source or similar – Vertex/Taxware).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of FI Integration with Blackline, Hyperion, PowerPlan etc.
  • Experience implementing at least two full-cycle SAP implementations.
  • Ability to create and maintain testing scripts in SAP Solution Manager.
  • Ability to identify and communicate risks and issues affecting business rules, functional requirements, and specifications.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between technical, quality assurance and non-technical stakeholders throughout the development
  • and deployment process.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams and to make project presentations.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to plan ahead for scheduled tasks.
  • Versatile, dynamic, demonstrates initiative, results oriented, flexible, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
