Overview:

The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children receive the highest level of care in a clean, diverse, and family-friendly atmosphere. As a key member of our team, you will engage with children through play, ensure their safety, and provide attentive visual and auditory supervision at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:


  • Provide exceptional customer service, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Greet every guest promptly, engaging with each child upon entering the Kids Club area.
  • Inquire about each child's needs at check-in to ensure the best possible care and safety precautions are taken.
  • Relate positively to children, members, guests, and fellow staff, always with a friendly smile.
Role Model:


  • Act as a positive role model for children, offering appropriate guidance and mentoring during activities.
  • Provide positive reinforcement, helping children develop age-appropriate skills, abilities, and motivation.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and family-friendly appearance.
Safety Advocate:


  • Ensure the overall care and well-being of the children in the Kids Club.
  • Maintain a secure environment, attending to the safety and needs of each child in a nurturing manner.
  • Vigilantly oversee the safety of all children in every area of the facility.
Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience supervising infants, toddlers, and youth is required.
  • Personality: Personable, enthusiastic, optimistic, and outgoing.
  • Attitude: Positive with a collaborative team-player mindset.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Education: High School diploma in progress or completed; GED acceptable.
  • Certification: CPR certification is highly preferred.
  • Childcare Training: Some training or education in childcare is desirable.
  • Traits: Patient, compassionate, and fun-loving.
  • Skills: Proficiency with basic computer applications.
  • Stability: Consistent work or school history.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Passion: A strong passion for health, fitness, and childcare.
