Nursing Assistant, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) department at Morristwon Medical Center, working varied shifts including every 4th weekend.


Minimum Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum Experience:

1+ years of Nursing Assistant Experience strongly preferred

License/Certification:

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred BLS preferred 

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care Assisting patients with daily activities Measuring and recording vital signs Administering basic treatments Helping to ensure a safe care environment Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork, and a positive attitude Good communication skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive customer service skills About US
