Job Overview:
As a Host/Hostess, you’ll be responsible for greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests.


Your Responsibilities:

Welcome guests to the venueProvide accurate wait times and monitor waiting listsManage reservationsEscort customers to assigned dining or bar areasProvide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s nameGreet customers upon their departureCoordinate with wait staff about available seating optionsMaintain a clean reception areaCater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queriesAssist wait staff as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/WaitressUnderstanding of restaurant etiquetteFamiliarity with health and safety regulationsExperience in managing reservationsDemonstrable customer-service skillsExcellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar areaAvailability to work in shifts as neededGood physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shiftHigh school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Lift, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp, and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basisHave the ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.Be able to work weekends and holidays, mornings and evenings as business demands.Must be able to stand for up to four hours.


What We Offer: As a part-time associate, you will be eligible for supplemental benefits to include your choice of dental, vision, and 401k with company match. 

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
