The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space's Mission Solutions business area is seeking a talented and dedicated Systems Engineer-IT to become a member of an Agile team focused on IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking, & Hardware) in the Foxtrot Program Area.

Are you a Senior Systems Admin looking for something different? In this role you will:

* LEAD Windows or Linux system administration
* Use scripts to automate server administration and deployment
* Complete system patching
* Support user interactions
* Design new capabilities
* Maintain networks and data storage to ensure maximum up-time for development and operations
* Mentor junior engineers as they work to advance their skillsets

* Demonstrate your great work ethic, communication skills, creativity and problem-solving skills to make a lasting difference.

This is a level 4, mid to senior career role where successful Applicants will:
  • Typically possess a minimum of 9 years of professional experience having received a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or additional experience/combined education in lieu of degree

    Selected candidate must have a TS/SCI w/ poly security clearance prior to start.

Basic Qualifications:
* System Administration Experience in Windows or Linux Operating systems
* Security+ or CISSP certification
* Must have an active TS/SCI w/ poly security clearance
Desired Skills:
* Ansible and/or Powershell scripting
* Gitlab Configuration Management
* Windows 2016, Windows 10, CentOS
* Windows System Administration including Active Directory, power shell, group policy, WSUS etc.
* SQL Server administration and deployment
* Hyper-V configuration
* AWS experience
* NetApp experience
* Linux system administration
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
