El Concilio California's is seeking a passionate individual to fulfill the position of a Peer Partner within our Latino Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. This position will be responsible for connecting community members with the appropriate behavioral services based on needs. The Peer Partner will support individuals who have difficulty with engagement and sustaining participation in mental health treatment. Working alongside Mental Health Clinicians, the peer partner will assist by participating in all aspects of individual's recovery plan. Other duties will include providing education on community resources and reducing the stigma of seeking mental health services. The peer partner will provide interventions and activities, services, and strategies to individuals at risk or exhibiting onset of serious mental illness. This position will compose reports on a regular basis and coordinate presentations on behalf of El Concilio California's Latino Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.

Employment Type: Full-Time; Non-exempt

Requirements: Background Check, Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, Language - Bilingual in Spanish

Qualifications: A Bachelor's in Psychology or related field with 1-3 years of experience in a related capacity; An Associates degree in Psychology or related field with 2-4 years of experience working in the mental health field; A high school diploma or GED equivalency with 3-5 years of experience in related field.
