The Commercialization Manager will be responsible for managing projects across the entire product lifecycle, including product launches, renovations, and discontinuations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with the company's business objectives and market demands.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This candidate has a high level of professional maturity, is skilled at building relationships, is highly organized, and is unafraid to challenge the status quo.
Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through commercialization. Project types managed include new product launches, product discontinuations, packaging changes, import/exports, and more. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure projects are executed seamlessly through regular collaboration with cross-functional team members across the business unit including, marketing, finance, operations, R&D, and demand planning. Keep team accountable for meeting deliverable timelines.Team Support
Conduct regular analysis and reporting on project portfolio, incoming pipeline, and resource constraints. Coordinate all preparations related to the Stage-Gate process including document synthesis, agendas, and recaps. Become the superuser of the team project management online tool. Assist the team with learning and using the tool efficiently.Basic Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a project management, sales, or marketing role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ experience in project management, sales and/or marketing ideally within the CPG industry
Project management and stage gate process experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong business acumen and a passion to bring projects to life. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little supervision. Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication. Detail-oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment. Comfort presenting projects in front of senior leadership. Strong thought leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
