Job Summary:
The Collector is responsible for initiating the appropriate action to collect past due balances and record accurate notes on delinquent accounts. This includes high volume phone calls and/or correspondence to assigned delinquent customers in a fast-paced, goal-oriented collections department. The collector will work closely with other collectors and lead collectors in completing claims billing and follow-up collection activities

Respond to inquiries in a timely and effective manner and treat customers fairly and consistentlyWorking knowledge of the FDCPA, State Collection Laws, HIPAA and how they fit within the revenue management cycleReview and update accounts that have been referred for repossession and legal actions against debtors.Update customer information such as phone numbers, e-mail, and addressNegotiates account settlements within established guidelinesAnswer telephone calls regarding account inquiries and payment collectionSkills:

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
