Responsibilities

Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite software applications, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Audition, to create, edit and enhance audiovisual content Utilizing AI-powered tools for video editing and metrics-gathering workflows (e.g. transcript generation and highlight identification) Collaborating with team members to track metrics, analyze data and continuously improve content performance Performing pre-production planning and conceptualization Doing production videography and lighting setup for interviews and events Performing post-production editing and implementation of audiovisual content Doing screencasting and other forms of on-screen audiovisual recording tasks Assisting in livestreaming/podcast content production Managing video content for hosting and consumer-facing platforms (e.g. YouTube and Vimeo) Archiving finished productions and building and maintaining intuitive directories

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience Demonstrated expertise through a combination of education, certifications, online courses or a strong portfolio of work 2–3 years of experience in a video production role Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software applications, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Audition Familiarity with AI-powered video editing and metrics gathering workflows (e.g. transcript generation and highlight identification) Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within project timelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in video hosting platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo and Twitch Basic understanding of video camera and microphone operation and terminology Experience with audio and video encoding and compression Broadband internet (for remote work)

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and MOGRT workflows Familiarity with TechSmith Camtasia Studio (or similar screen-capture software) Familiarity with project management platforms like Jira or similar platforms Experience working with large language models (LLMs) in the context of media production or content creation Working knowledge of Wolfram Language (in-job training is available)
