Transitions Hospice is seeking an Administrator to join our growing family The right candidate will be compassionate and able to support our staff, patients, and families and care for their needs in a way that aligns with our philosophy: to empower our patients and families by providing the tools and support necessary to embrace life.

This position will work in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical and nursing care. This position is expected to manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the Company’s budgets. Travel necessary.

Responsibilities:

Evaluating and implementing policies. Overseeing a team of nurses, certified nurse assistants, social workers, chaplains, etc. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Performing financial budgeting. Overseeing day to day business operations. Conflict and complaint management and resolution. Ensuring adequate staffing. Leadership responsibility in supporting management staff which provides an atmosphere where they and their subordinates can work effectively and efficiently. Requirements

Position Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Masters degree in health care or related field preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in health care management. Previous work experience as an Administrator strongly preferred. Demonstrates an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel. Has an ability to deal tactfully with the community. Has knowledge of corporate business management. Understands hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group. Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification.
