Job Summary:
The Golf Course Maintenance department works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. They are responsible for semi-skilled ground construction and maintenance work and perform related tasks as required.
Day-to-Day:
Responsibilities:
- Processes financial documents such as invoices and tracks as necessary.
- Assists in the preparation of reports and meetings.
- Maintains budget and notifies management of issues that are outside budgetary guidelines and prepares weekly reports.
- Orders some supplies and equipment for the department and tracks status as necessary.
- Performs a variety of secretarial duties such as answering telephones, scheduling appointments, typing, photocopying, filing, record keeping etc.
- Initiate purchase orders from authorized purchasers; responsible for tracking and purchase order reconciliation.
- Works under the direction of the Director of Agronomy to form a cohesive tracking, ordering, filing, reconciling in and between the 5 golf courses.
- 1 year experience in Clerical work
- Able to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
- Flexible schedule available full or part time
- Bilingual (English - Spanish) communication ability preferred but not necessary
- Local candidates only as this position does not offer relocation.
- High school diploma and equivalent.
