- Operate multi line phone system – direct calls, take messages, and relay appropriately and timely.
- Knowledgable of all doctor's service ( will train). Trigger point injection, blood draws, sterile procedure set up.
- Verify the appropriate patient insurance and update demographics.
- Read and respond to messages/emails professionally and timely.
- Check in patients. Confirm patient accounts are accurate and current.
- Decrement all referrals in system as required per appointment type/insurance type.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness for front lobby and office area.
- Balance daily credit card and monies at the end of each day.
- Process point of sales.
- Call referrals to schedule appointments and consults daily.
- Scan documents.
- Opening and closing the practice.
- Cross train for all front office positions; check in, check out, and insurance verification/precertification.
- Complete all medical records requests (faxing documents when possible).
