Job Summary
You will interface with all levels of Raytheon and government personnel to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), applicable government and federal regulations, and Raytheon company policies. The FSO will develop and manage a team of security professionals. This position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working independently, using good judgement when providing security support, and communicating effectively to all levels of internal and external customers. The FSO will possess the leadership skills needed to successfully lead the security team and manage the industrial security program while collaborating across functions within Raytheon, such as cybersecurity, IT, and HR.
Responsibilities to Anticipate
Working as an inclusive leader of a diverse group with uncompromising ethics and integrity Working with Defense Counter-Intelligence Security Agency (DCSA) and other government agency representatives Researching, interpreting, and implementing requirements of the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and ISLs Working with NISS(/DISS Managing all aspects of a classified document control program Interpreting security guidance on DD254s and issuing and managing subcontractor DD254s Developing and establishing an effective security awareness, training, and education (SATE) program Creating and conducting security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, and program-specific security briefings Working with Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Area and Restricted Area certification and stakeholdersBasic Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum 8 years of experience in Industrial Security, preferably with no less than 5 years of experience as an FSOU.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Must possess a valid driver’s license Successful completion of the DCSA CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities CurriculumDesired Skills

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
