Summary
The Membership Advisor will be responsible for sourcing new prospects through activities outside of the gym, setting appointments for both personally produced leads and marketing leads and ultimately selling membership to prospects who join YouFit Gyms.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage and participate in marketing events
Foster relationships with businesses in the local community with the intention of generating leads and new members for YouFit Gyms
Partner with our Corporate Sales Manager to generate leads for corporate sales
Create a positive first impression to all members and guests
Understand and contribute to all monthly, quarterly goals and objectives
Perform engaging in-gym quick look arounds (QLAs)
Sell memberships & personal training programs
Accurate data entry within all written and electronic forms
Requirements
Passion for fitness and helping others
Effective communication skills for phone calls and in-person prospect and member engagement
Confident in presenting YouFit membership and YouFit personal training programs
Committed to ongoing training and development
Ability to multitask
Self motivated with a strong work ethic
Customer service oriented
Punctual, dependable and positive
Projects a professional and healthy image through dress, behavior and attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Must be proficient in written and spoken English language
Be an ambassador for YouFit Gyms in both attire (you will be provided a collared shirt), professionalism and attitude
Expectations
50-60 calls per day to prospective members to establish appointments and generate walk-in traffic to the gyms
10 new corporate leads per month for the region
Personally generate at least 10 leads per day through prospecting a minimum of three hours per day
Schedule 6 appointments per day with a 50% show ratio
30% of new member unit goal per gym per month
PT Penetration of 10% - defined as selling PT to 10% of new members sold
Time spent in the gym prior to 5pm is focused on following up with prospects and setting and confirming appointments
Schedule and set up two marketing events per month
Schedule
Typical days worked are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Specific times and schedule will be decided by the Senior Director for your region

This is expected to be a full-time position (non-exempt/hourly)
