Summary of Job Duties:
The Physical Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients aged 12 and older with movement limitations due to medical conditions. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. The role also involves implementing wellness programs to prevent mobility loss and ensuring all documentation complies with UAMS policies and HIPAA standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure.Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience in Physical Therapy. Certified MDT and/or OCS. Bilingual skills (Spanish-English).Special knowledge, abilities and skills:
Must have a strong background in treatment of orthopedic conditions. Ability to read, write and communicate to clinic staff, physicians and the public. Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Must have ability to conduct and interpret tests administered to patients.
Additional Information:
This position supports treatment plan development for patients in the PACE setting at UAMS and Washington Regional.
