Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract UX Designer 2 opportunity.Job Responsibilities: Design user interfaces for web, software, and/or hardware products. Writing functionality design specifications. Design and implement prototypes, mock ups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams. Generates design ideas; presents and sells designs to product group. Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Acts as consultant to other team leads and may manage external production and design resources. The role will consist of 25% meetings, 25% campaign/branding work, and 50% UIUX work. Purpose of the Team: This is the developer platform team: goal to help developers create a software platform. Team’s role requires a designer, developer marketing campaign, branding team related products through social media, as well as some additional projects in the future, and UI UX development.
Qualifications/Skills: 2-4 years of overall experience Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. The ideal candidate will have different experiences with branding design and UI UX developer. 2 plus years work related experience required. Experience in native platform software design. Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required. Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required. Advanced experience in creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams is required. Advanced knowledge of web technologies (i.e. HTML and CSS). Fluency with standard design software tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) required. Advanced interaction design and web technology skills (i.e. Flash) may be required. Strong knowledge or experience with database served websites. Experience working with rich client or web applications preferred. Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Must be familiar with industry standards and trends. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
MUST HAVES: 1 year of experience with UI UX developer. 1 year of experience working with a functional development team. 1 year of experience using design software tools. Portfolio Required Must have ability to own and drive projects.
Job Details: Job Type: Contract Location: 100% Remote acceptable. Pay Range: $43.50-$54/hr. ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
