The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Aerospace Sales Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Meeting or exceeding designated sales quota in your assigned sales territory Partnering with local distribution to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs Prospecting for new growth opportunities with both new and current 3M customers. Collaborating with 3M’s End-User Key Accounts Team to drive growth, through key end-user customers Effectively and consistently managing your opportunity pipeline, while conducting strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews for key markets and end-user customers in the region.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Eight (8) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Master's degree in from an accredited institution Skills include:A strong track record of consistent sales achievementsExperience articulating value propositions and system-sellingUnderstanding of manufacturing and assembly processesProduct demonstration skills and competenceRobust aptitude for collaboration and cross-functional teamwork to winFascination with how things are made

Work location:

Work Your Way Eligible Remote based responsible for Western Region of the United States (California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington)

Travel: May include up to 40% domestic

Relocation Assistance: Not Authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
