Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Reports To: Business Office Manager
Monday- Thursday: 9:am- 6:pm
Fridays: 8:am -5:pm
Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position include building maintenance, cleaning, waste removal, room schedule coordination, event setup, shredding and security of the buildings.
Functions:
Actively clean and disinfect offices, classrooms, restrooms and all remaining portions of buildings, following an established cleaning schedule. Clean and wash windows. Actively maintain outside campus environment, including picking up litter, sweeping, trimming trees and shrubs, weeding, and edging. Wipe down classroom whiteboards twice a day Assist in securing bids for building outsourced services and improvements. Supervise outsourced services, including cleaning services, shredding, maintenance equipment, security and remodeling projects. Coordinate classroom set up and breakdown for all special events. Ensure classroom readiness for each semester. Ensure preventative maintenance schedule is maintained. Oversee receiving and delivery of shipments. Organizing and maintaining storage areas, including coordinating future record keeping initiatives. Assemble furniture and equipment as needed. Perform maintenance and repairs as needed. Move furniture and equipment when necessary. Perform general safety and security duties while on campus. Participate as a member of the campus’s administrative team as required. Communicate any facilities concerns to the Business Office Manager Ensure all inspection requirements are scheduled and up to date.Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse group, in a fast-paced environment. Computer skills required in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of maintenance and facility management process required. Must be able to lift a minimum of lbs. Must be available to answer emergency facilities and security issues outside of normal business hours. Personal transportation is required.
