Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain sales plan to achieve department annual sales goal Provide sales and technical knowledge for a specific department or product categoryEducate and train store sales team on the products and their attributes in your department Work with store team to grow wholesale business and market share through planning and goal settingProvide Store sales teams with qualifying questions to assist customers in your departmentEnsure all signage, sales events and promotional material is current and displayed properlyEnsure you are representing the highest expression of our brand and the service we provideGreet and receives customers in a welcoming mannerRespond to customers’ questionsAsks open ended questions to understand customers’ needsDrive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledgeDirects customers by escorting then to the aisle or location of productHelp customer select the proper productInform customers about services available and assess customer needsAssist customers’ with drop ship or special order purchasesAlerts management to potential security or loss prevention issuesAssists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandiseProcess let downs as neededEnsure all product locations are front, faced and replenished with available overstockKeep aisle and sales floor neat, clean and organized Remove any hazards or obstacles that may impede walking the aisles or sales floorUnderstand buy online and pick up in store processAssist with Buy on line ship from store processAvailable to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends and some holidays.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent active listening skills.Excellent sales and customer service skills.Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.Ability to anticipate customer’s needs.Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system.Must have the ability to wear and communicate through a headset.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior boating and sales experience is required.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to shoulder height unassisted.?
