What You Will Do
Reprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinets Participate in regular on-site training This position will be set for our overnight, 3rd, shift
What You Need to Be Successful
High School diploma or GED or relatable experience (such as surgical or GI technician experience) and CRCST or CSPDT certification required OR 2 years of SPD or relatable experience (such as surgical or GI technician experience), obtaining CRCST or CSPDT certification within 12 months of hire. Certification must be maintained annually. Must also obtain CIS, CER/CFER, or STERIS Assessment certification within 12 months of hire. Certification must be maintained annually. Must maintain certification by completing 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours each year.
