Work You’ll Do

Our practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects covering the entire lifecycle from strategy formulation through to design, development and the deployment of solutions. These project teams will often include leaders and specialists from other business and technical disciplines from within the consulting practice and from our clients. A focus on teamwork is therefore critical. As a revenue recognition solution expert, you will bring considerable revenue management expertise to help design, develop and implement revenue recognition solutions to transform client’s revenue automation processes. You will interact daily with key business and IT executives and lead multiple teams in various strategy and implementation activities.

 Responsibilities will include:

Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors and build a trusted advisor relationship. Delivery: Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, product simplification and alignment, capability design and planning, technology/vendor selection and planning and business launch readiness Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Business strategy: Overall business strategy to drive flexible consumption-based business models for the organization Business model: Clear definition and alignment on "what" is sold, "to whom," and "how" Business capabilities: Enabling processes and policies to support the target business model Operating model: Based on new set of business capabilities defining the right structure for organizing them to optimally deliver a company’s offerings to the marketplace Technology platform: Strategic automation of processes for efficiency via a technology platform—applications, infrastructure, data, integration, and security

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 3 years of experience within revenue recognition professional services or industry focused on delivering cloud-based revenue recognition solutions (High-Tech, Automotive, Med-tech, Telecom) Revenue recognition (ASC 606, IFRS 15) expertise,  including understanding of the leading practices and ability to facilitate clients’ most complex business requirements Strong understanding of lead-to-cash and record-to-report processes and end-to-end architectures Experience with end-to-end implementations of revenue recognition solutions (e.g. Zuora RevPro, Oracle NetSuite ARM, Aptitude RevStream) Understanding of ASC 606 standard, accounting policies, and implications Ability to communicate complex system concepts to a business audience in a clear and concise manner Experience and in-depth understanding of all aspects of the SDLC including Design, Build, QA, UAT and Support Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies A Bachelor’s degree Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Experience with architecture assessments and developing roadmaps to implement revenue recognition solutions Experience with designing and configuring cloud/SaaS revenue recognition solutions in complex environments Experience designing integrations with upstream (billing, invoicing) and downstream ERP (GL) applications Experience identifying creative solutions within configurable cloud systems or within boundary applications where customization is required Experience of managing teams with sizes ranging 5-10 resource Experience with successfully leading complex engagements, both business and technical, including multiple dependencies and integration points Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment An advanced degree in the area of specialization Information for applicants with a need for accommodation:

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,225 to $208,250.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
