Madden's is an award-winning resort, located on more than 1,000 acres, that anticipates the wishes and desires of vacationers and offers them fantastic golf, upscale dining, lakeside spa, tennis, activity programs for children, biking, shopping, and art gallery with painting classes and almost every kind of on-the-water recreation possible in Minnesota, including fishing. Madden’s is currently seeking a Resort Greeter who will provide expert level of service at the main gate of the resort.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor entry and exits at the gate assuring only members, guests, or authorized personnel are allowed access. May function in a security capacity by monitoring and controlling the entrance of guests, and ensuring that age requirements are met, and facility capacity limits are not exceeded where appropriate. Directs visitors or guests to their proper desired destination within a resort. All unauthorized persons shall be refused admittance to the resort. Graciously welcome guests and members to Maddens as they arrive. Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Guests and Members Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Maddens and the surrounding area. Monitor parking, making sure that employees park in designated areas. Relay necessary information to delivery drivers, workmen and other authorized personnel. Work with all resort departments to maintain maximum rapport and open communication channels. Exhibits good work habits. Maintains a positive attitude. Maintains good attendance/demonstrates promptness. Is reliable to complete all work and meet all deadlines.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to deliver a high level of professional standards, with assistance from the Employee Guidelines Knowledge and understanding of the resort as whole. Must be able to answer questions regarding the resort and the Brainerd Lakes Should have a strong sense of multi-tasking and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Great sense of Judgment and decision-making skills. Must be able to keep a calm professional manner under stressful situations. Maintains a proactive “Can Do” attitude.
