Job Summary and QualificationsAssists in patient treatment by monitoring, circulating and scrubbing under the direction of a Cardiologist and/or Physician’s Assistant. Supports the department by ensuring the appropriate functioning of the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs, collecting and documenting information and educating patients and their families.
Required Education: Associate’s degree in Science Degree or comparable work experience
- Required License: RCES, RCIS or ARRT – must obtain license two years after employment begins. BLS certification. Obtain ACLS within 3 months of hire.
- Preferred License: Certification in Invasive Cardiology
- Required Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred Experience: Minimum of two years experience in an interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab
