Job Summary and QualificationsAs a ER Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients in a Level II Trauma Center. We have an amazing and fast acting team who work together in stressful situations, always putting the patients first.
- You will triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
- In this role you will need to manage multiple cases simultaneously while providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs.
- You will be proficient in recognizing life threatening arrhythmias and initiating the appropriate treatment.
- You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- You will recognize and respond to changes in a patient’s condition.
- Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS
- PALS within six months of hire.
- TNCC within 2 years of hire.
Situated in Portsmouth, NH, Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a premier 234-bed acute care facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the Seacoast region of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.
