Job Title: Executive Consultant
Location: 100% offsite
What’s the Job?
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in SAP CAR and integrating with other SAP modules and non-SAP solutions. Knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies.
- Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, and collaborates with product development teams on packaged and custom software solutions
- Author documentation such as techno functional specifications ensuring all details of designed solution ensuring integrations, dependencies, configuration, mapping, test cases and business process rules are included to support a new Stores Point of Sale (POS)effort and the larger SAP roadmap plan
- Works closely with BASIS, external consultants, cross functional technology associates and business partners to support the new POS project implementation and future implementations including SAP S/4.
- Responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions
- Develop, prototype, test and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usability and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives
- Research and analyze complex issues surrounding business processes & technology
- Support the identification of enhancement opportunities to improve processes and system configuration that supports the customer-focused approach, but ensures compliance to the business management goals and objectives
- Perform other duties as necessary
What’s Needed?
- 8-10+ years of experience with configuration/enhancements within SAP FI-CO & CAR
- POSDTA
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent from accredited four-year university
- Systems implementation & project management skills including requirements gathering, detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, cut-over and support
- Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
- Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users, such as prototyping and creating business presentations, or articulating and selling best practices to business executives
- Retail or Consumer Product Goods Industry experience. Banking / Insurance / other domains will be less qualified.
