Primary Duties:

  1. Performs repairs and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Performs repairs on all types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, water coolers, air conditioning equipment, etc.

  1. Detects malfunctioning equipment and makes quality improvement or cost containment recommendations and sees through approval and implementation stages.

  1. Works on the snow removal team; plowing, shoveling, and salting of walkways and driveways.

  1. Consistently displays professionalism in dealings with customers, staff, and physicians. Promptly answers customer, staff requests pleasantly and appropriately.

  1. Participates with supervisors in identifying learning needs. When learning needs are identified, participates in training and development activities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Equivalent work experience in lieu of education may be considered required.
  • Completion of trade school and/or apprenticeship program required.
  • 3-4 years related experience required.
  • CFC certification required.
  • HVACR (MD) preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements including all State, Federal and JCAHO regulation
