Provides nursing care via the nursing process for the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Collects and analyzes patient/significant other data. Completes an admission database and ongoing assessment to include collaboration with patients, significant others and other health care providers. Identifies variances and makes adjustments in the plan of care based on evaluation of the plan and effectiveness of nursing interventions. Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

EXPERIENCE:

Required:
New RN Graduates: Acceptance into Cone Health New Graduate program or completion of an acute care new graduate program.

Preferred:
Experienced RN : One year of Acute Care RN experience is preferred. Hiring leader may consider other RN experience at their discretion.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

REQUIRED
RN | Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED
The following certifications are preferred and may be required within a certain timeframe of hire as defined by the specific nursing unit.
