Job Summary: The HR Generalist responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to the plant associates. The incumbent will be an integral member of the ACIM Leadership Team, functioning as the strategic partner to the plant manager and liaison with Corporate HR (PCHI). The Generalist will support the plant leaders to enhance talent development, employee engagement, employee relations, HR legal compliance, and positive employee culture initiatives. This position will drive key talent management, employee relations, legal compliance, and change culture initiatives, as well as monitor all key HR compliance related issues while driving positive employee morale. This position will promote a culture that emphasizes quality, continuous reimagination and high performance. Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and implement programs leveraging enterprise HR programs to support the employee engagement journey. * Responsible for all employee relations issues, including job coaching, counseling, and development. * Coach, develop and advise management to better enable them to address employee concerns and performance issues. * Collaborate with the corporate human resources team to develop and execute effective and streamlined recruitment strategies * Implement and administer employee policies. * Stay abreast of federal and state labor laws. * Proactively partner with Plant Manager to monitor and establish positive work environment practices with a focus on diversity and inclusion. * Process and investigate complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and delegate appropriate disciplinary actions. * Effectively communicate and manage safety protocols and practices and proactively identify and mitigate existing hazards. * Manage Workers Compensation cases in partnership with Corporate WC team * Other duties or projects as assigned. Qualifications Skills and Abilities: * Bachelor s Degree in Human Resource Management, or a combination of education, work experiences and training. PHR or SHRM- CP preferred. * 6+ years experience in HR; preferably in a manufacturing setting. Previous experience in a facility turn around strongly preferr * Proven ability to conduct investigations, employee relations concerns, and accident reporting and follow-through. Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. * Must possess strong planning, execution, multitasking, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. * Excellent communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish preferred * EHS, OSHA and Workers Compensation experience or exposure preferred * Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and recruiting management software * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook) FLSA Working Conditions: * This role supports multiple shifts, and may be required to be in the office early, late, or on weekends to address needs of multiple shifts * Must be able to walk through a production/manufacturing environment where you are exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, and noise.
