Our client, is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the department and supporting the team.
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Seattle WA
What’s the Job?- Invoicing customers and preparing customer statements.
- Generating weekly A/R aging reports.
- Applying payments to customer accounts and posting daily deposits.
- Tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues.
- Initiating collections on past-due accounts.
- Conducting account research and analysis.
- Reconciling A/R to the General Ledger (G/L).
- Preparing and maintaining various financial reports.
- Assisting with month-end close processes.
- Maintaining the Customer database and ensuring outdated or missing information is renewed/acquired.
- Working on special projects as assigned.
- Seeking and proposing opportunities to streamline existing Accounts Receivable procedures.
What’s Needed?
- Customer service experience with technical communication proficiencies.
- Proactive, articulate, with high attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently seek opportunities for streamlining or process improvement.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP / CRM systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable with complex cash applications, preferably in the beverage or other consumer packaged goods industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related Business field preferred.
