BI Data Architect

Job Summary And Responsibilities Responsible for designing and building all technical designs for multi?platform applications and software, and coordinating data discovery and validation processes based on project lead and end?user specifications. Develop business intelligence solutions, reports, and analytics while maintaining collaborative relationships with business users and application teams to meet the organizations information and reporting needs and align with strategic initiatives. Organize training and development of the business analyst team to ensure proficiency in application reporting and data analysis, and to identify process improvement opportunities. Lead the Modern Business Intelligence work, streamlining efforts with users to develop management dashboards and coaching leadership on developing specific data sets using dashboard technology. Develop and implement data warehousing, interactive analytic reports, and dashboard solutions using the organizations BI tools. Work with executives on aligning dashboard reporting with strategic planning exercises. Identify ETL build architecture and optimal use of dashboard solutions based on departmental analytical requirements. Design and generate complex reports from multiple applications to provide end users with data needed to make timely business decisions that impact organizational improvement. Maintain end?user reporting tools and systems, ensuring access, accuracy, resolving defects, and improving delivery of up?to?date data to meet business demands. Provide technical and business intelligence training and support to departmental teams to increase application effectiveness and data analysis performance. Perform data analysis, data mining, and profiling, and build effort estimates for projects and initiatives based on system capability to deliver information solutions that improve departmental processes. Document and maintain procedures for business continuity and disaster recovery related to submitted project solution designs. Provide technical support, including specialized technical coding and problem tracking and resolution. Implement DAR (Dashboard, Analysis, Reporting) methodology for optimal application development. Job Requirements Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree Six (6) years relevant experience Advanced scripting skills in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Advanced use of Microsoft BI Technology (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), QlikSense, and other BI tools Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training Excellent written, verbal, and critical thinking skills, including system and business analysis, problem analysis, and resolution. Must understand technical concepts of the system environment. Experience facilitating user?based analysis, data discovery, and data standards in alignment with control chart processes. Strong customer?service attitude while remaining organized and detailed in high?pressure situations. Able to problem?solve issues and identify potential opportunities through continual process improvement efforts. Experience with large enterprise healthcare EMR system applications (EPIC, MediTech). Knowledge and understanding of business process maps, system diagrams, logical data models, gap analysis, measurement system analysis, and other documentation required for project analysis, planning, and design.
