System Freight, Inc., a leader in direct-to-store deliveries and fleet outsourcing services, is seeking a dedicated CDL-A Local Driver to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of freight to our customers primarily in the Northeastern United States. As part of our driving team, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service delivery and reliability in the transportation industry. Operate a CDL-A truck to deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner. Conduct inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, and report any problems or safety concerns. Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to scheduled routes and timing. Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations. Manage documentation related to deliveries and transport, including bills of lading and logs. Handle goods with care and maintain professionalism during interactions with customers and the public. Proficient in operating a CDL-A vehicle and other related equipment. Strong time management skills to adhere to predetermined schedules. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
