Flight Assurance Associate Manufacturing Engineer- Midland, TX

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer: Flight Assurance to join a New Space satellite manufacturing company located in Midland, TX through 100% onsite work. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer: Flight Assurance will conduct quality engineering activities focused on inspections, validation, and mission assurance for high-volume satellite production.Responsibilities:Develop and execute quality control processes to ensure safety, performance, and mission reliability of satellite components.Perform inspections and audits on assemblies and subsystems in cleanroom environments.Support testing activities (vibration, thermal vacuum) and assist with integration and compliance documentation.Analyze test data, identify nonconformance's, and contribute to root-cause investigations.Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes and adapt to rapid production scaling (up to 6 satellites/month).Qualifications:Experience: 0-3 years (recent graduates or interns encouraged).Skills: Hands-on experience with quality/validation processes, FEA/simulations, CAD tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS), and compliance documentation.Preferred: Exposure to high-volume manufacturing, material analysis, and process optimization.Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.Compensation:Salary: $85,000/ year depending on experienceComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Sick Leave as required by law, and HolidaysOther benefits: relocation assistance ($10,000), unlimited PTO after 90 days, Restricted Stock Units, monthly meal allowance and stipend ($1000 monthly)Clearance Level: Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background checkLocation: 100% onsite in Midland, TXKeywords: Quality Engineering, Mission Assurance, Satellite Manufacturing, FEA, CAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Cleanroom, High-Volume Production, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Associate Flight Assurance Engineer, Quality Engineering, Mission Assurance, Satellite Manufacturing, Aerospace Quality Control, High-Volume Production, Assembly Integration and Testing (AIT), Cleanroom Operations, Inspection and Audit, Nonconformance Analysis, Root Cause Investigation, Compliance Documentation, Process Improvement, CAD Design, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Structural Validation, Thermal Vacuum Testing, Vibration Testing, Material Analysis, Process Optimization, Automotive Manufacturing Experience, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Recent Graduate, Entry-Level Engineering, New Space Industry, LEO Constellation, BlueBird Satellites, High-Volume Satellite Builds, Startup Environment, Adaptability, Shift Rotation, Hands-On Engineering, Quality Validation, Manufacturing Support, Data Analysis, Engineering Documentation, US Citizen, Permanent Resident, DoD Experience Preferred.
