Senior Environmental Counsel

Tradebe is seeking a Senior Environmental Counsel to partner with our business leaders to ensure compliance with RCRA, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, and other applicable environmental regulations. This role provides strategic legal and business counsel on environmental, regulatory, and operational matters while identifying and managing legal risks across the organization. The position may also support other areas of law, including corporate, commercial, labor and employment, real estate, dispute resolution, and business development.Key Job Responsibilities: Provide counseling and environmental legal support including compliance assistance, support for environmental and other permits, interpretative guidance, agency negotiations and preventive lawIdentify and analyze environmental issues that impact the operation, execution, and success of the businessServe as a subject matter expert and provide senior advisory services to business partners Negotiate, coordinate, monitor and manage complex legal issues and make legal decisionsMake recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the businessDevelops and implements programs, conducts presentations, and participates in other activities to educate Company employees as to the Company policies and procedures and legal compliance requirementsOther duties as assigned Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.Required Qualifications – must haveEducation: Law degree from an accredited law school requiredMember in good standing of at least one state bar required Experience: Minimum of 8 years of practice requiredKnowledge of the environmental laws and RCRA regulatory experienceMeaningful experience in handling other legal issues that arise in connection with operation of facilities and field servicesExperience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor/customer contractsExperience giving management trainingExperience serving as effective spokesperson for the company in dealings with government regulatorsSkills: Resilient and committed to delivering results with drive, energy and a hands-on, proactive approachSelf-motivated and trustworthy, taking ownership of your actions and choices. xhmxlyz Honest and willing to speak out, collaborative and respectful of others in building relationships.
