Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will support our growing welding wire product line. This role combines inside sales with customer service responsibilities to provide a seamless buying experience for our clients. They will be the first point of contact for inquiries, responsible for nurturing customer relationships, processing orders, and actively identifying sales opportunities. Ideal candidates have experience in welding or industrial products, strong communication skills, and a proactive sales mindset. Primary Responsibilities Sales & Order Management: Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries related to welding wire products. Process sales orders, generate quotes, and follow-up on leads to close sales. Work closely with the outside sales team to support key accounts and regional growth. Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable product support and troubleshoot customer issues. Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status, lead times, and delivery schedules. Resolve complaints and returns quickly and professionally. Account & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft D365). Track sales activities and report key metrics to sales leadership. Identify dormant accounts and re-engage to drive repeat business. Job Requirements 2+ years in inside sales or customer service, preferably in welding, industrial, or manufacturing environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build rapport and close sales over the phone. Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
