Job DescriptionConsidering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.As a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Multicloud team, you will own the execution of OCI Multicloud initiatives and programs that span across the OCI and Oracle Database organizations and our hyperscaler partners. In this highly visible role, you will work with a diverse set of architects, product managers, development and design teams, senior executives, and external partners to take ideas, turn them into mature products, and put them in the hands of the world's most fast-paced customers.We are looking for a driven, highly organized individual who excels at driving large-scale, cross-organizational programs and projects to play a critical role in driving product delivery. The successful candidate works backward, starting with the customer, has a passion for solving difficult and often ambiguous problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, a curiosity about creativity and innovative thinking, can lead a conversation in a room with designers, engineers, and product managers, and influence partners to arrive at the accurate outcomes. You come to the role with a history of leading large end-to-end projects, experience driving stakeholder accountability, are an exceptionally strong communicator, and have a good sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams.Career Level - IC5ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesDrive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and delivery across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Support, and other key partners to the OCI Multicloud Engineering team.Drive complex projects while prioritizing deliverable execution, mitigating risks, managing escalations, and ensuring stakeholder requirements are satisfied. Drive execution for timely, on-scope delivery of user and developer facing features.Work with multi-functional teams to establish and maintain roadmaps, setting appropriate expectations by managing competing priorities and influencing key partners.Ensure product and service release quality is consistent with Oracle customer experience and operational excellence standards.Ensure resource requirements needed to support a particular program are in place. Look around corners and effectively escalate and provide visibility where resource constraints and bottlenecks are anticipated.Provide critical issue management, and make trade-off recommendations, while balancing the business and customer needs, along with technical constraints.Identify core process gaps, improve them, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.Provide ongoing written and verbal release status updates to senior leadership. Attention to detail is paramount.Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, advising changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.10+ years of experience in a technical program management role.Experience with software release management and cloud database services.Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling.Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically; then comfortable driving teams to deliver results, speaking up, and challenging the status quo when needed.Highly analytical and comfortable working with large amounts of data.
