**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.

+ Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures, maintaining thorough and accurate records.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as situations require.

+ Assist in controlling access to designated areas within the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry points as directed by site policies.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
