This role is a balance of both leadership and technical expertise. You'll manage resources, coordinate with technical project managers (TPMs), and ensure the successful execution of projects. We encourage collaboration, innovation, and adaptability, as we scale and continuously improve our engineering practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring productivity. Collaborate with TPMs to efficiently allocate resources and meet both technical and business objectives. Create an empathetic yet accountable work environment where team members are encouraged to thrive. Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and adaptability, helping your team reach their full potential.Technical & Project Execution: Work closely with TPMs to define technical requirements and project milestones. Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, such as agile methodologies, CI/CD, and high-level architectural standards. Identify and manage technical debt to ensure the scalability and long-term sustainability of systems. Actively participate in technical decision-making, ensuring alignment with company goals.Culture & Process Improvement: Champion a transparent, trustworthy, and collaborative team culture. Encourage reflection and improvement to optimize workflows and increase team efficiency. Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing code quality, documentation, and system monitoring. Promote diversity, inclusion, and a positive work environment where everyone feels valued.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong technical background in software development, system architecture, and technical problem-solving. Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, C#, or .NET Core. Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and version control (e.g., Git). Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Desired Qualifications Experience working in rapidly growing organizations. Familiarity with cloud computing, microservices, and containerized environments. Experience with system monitoring, incident response, and operational best practices.
