 JOB DUTIES

  • Assist the VP of Construction with coordinating the contractor bid process, including scope development, proposal review, and vendor compliance.
  • Help review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, daily logs, and progress reports.
  • Assist with monitoring subcontractor performance and quality control, escalating issues as needed.
  • Organize and streamline construction services, administrative operations and data output.
  • Coordinate communication among contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and processes to improve departmental efficiency.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, or a related field required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in real estate development, preferably in the multifamily industry.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Development, Design, and Construction Professional (CDCDP) or Real Estate Development Professional (REDP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience leading and managing development teams.
  • Deep understanding of real estate development principles and practices.    
  • Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to analyze market data and financial information.    
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
