We are seeking a
Lead Mobile Engineer
with strong expertise in
React Native
to lead the end-to-end development of a cross-platform mobile application (iOS and Android). This role is key to directing both the technical development and collaboration with design, QA, and stakeholders, ensuring
timely, high-quality deliveries
with a focus on user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle development of a React Native mobile app for iOS and Android, from
    architecture to delivery
    .
  • Ensure
    timely, high-quality releases
    by applying best development practices.
  • Mentor and guide other developers
    , promoting technical excellence and team growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design (
    Figma
    ), QA, and stakeholder teams to integrate features seamlessly.
  • Manage
    Git workflows, version control
    , and coordinate deployments.
  • Oversee the full
    Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    under
    Scrum
    methodology.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies using
    Jira
    for planning and progress tracking.
  • Identify technical risks and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across
    distributed and multicultural teams
    .

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of professional software development experience
    .
  • Solid, hands-on experience developing mobile apps with
    React Native (5+ years preferred)
    .
  • Proven
    leadership and mentorship experience
    in technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Git, version control, and deployment processes
    .
  • Familiarity with
    QA processes and quality assurance standards
    .
  • Experience working with
    Figma design files
    and collaborating effectively with design teams.
  • Advanced understanding of
    mobile UX/UI principles
    and responsive design.
  • Experience in Agile environments using
    Jira
    .
  • Excellent
    verbal and written communication skills
    , capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Availability during
    EST/EDT business hours
    .
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    (no visa sponsorship available).

Compensation & Contract Details

  • Employment Type:
    Full-time (W-2 via Gusto)
    .
  • Contract Duration:
    64 weeks total
    — 50 weeks full-time (160 hrs/month), followed by 14 weeks part-time (80 hrs/month).
  • Salary Range:
    $100,000 – $125,000 USD per year
    (prorated during part-time phase).
  • Work Arrangement:
    100% remote
    with required availability during EST/EDT business hours.
