Senior Associate - Accounting Advisory - Consulting - Boston

The Opportunity:

We're seeking a
Senior Associate
to join our
Accounting Advisory
practice. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in
external audit
who's ready to apply their technical skills in a more dynamic, client-facing environment. You'll work directly with Controllers, CFOs, and private equity teams to solve complex accounting and reporting issues.

What You'll Do:

  • Support clients with
    technical accounting research
    and implementation of new standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, CECL, etc.)
  • Assist with
    financial statement preparation
    , close process optimization, and audit readiness projects
  • Participate in
    M&A, IPO readiness, and carve-out
    engagements
  • Identify process improvements and help clients strengthen internal controls and financial reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engagement teams and mentor junior staff

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of external audit experience
    in public accounting or 3 busy seasons
  • Solid understanding of
    US GAAP and financial reporting
  • CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to work in a fast-paced, consulting environment
