The
Experiential
team
specializes in creating permanent and semi-permanent branded environments that redefine how audiences connect with teams, leagues, and brands. Our projects range from experience centers and venues to wayfinding systems and large-scale branded environments — each merging storytelling with architecture and design. These initiatives often span months to years, giving team members the opportunity to shape experiences that are intentional, enduring, and deeply immersive. By embedding brand strategy into the built environment, we create environments that inspire pride, loyalty, and lasting impact.
Position Summary- Senior Project Manager, Environments
The
Senior Project Manager
will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale experiential, branded environment, and architectural projects from concept through completion. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships across a portfolio of high-profile projects, ensuring delivery excellence while advancing Elevate's creative vision.
Ideal candidates have experience overseeing projects that connect design and build — including branded interiors, stadium environments, activations, installations, and permanent spaces. Experience with wayfinding systems and venue environments is a strong plus, as these projects require careful coordination of user experience, circulation, and brand integration.
You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and bring clarity and confidence to complex projects. You are equally adept at leading client meetings with executives, negotiating with vendors, and mentoring junior PMs and Coordinators.
We welcome applicants from diverse professional backgrounds — including architecture, experiential design, interior design, construction management, or creative agencies — but you must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary spatial projects at scale, with both financial and creative accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale experiential, branded environment, and architectural projects from initiation through completion, managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets of $1M+.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, leading executive-level meetings, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage detailed project budgets, forecasts, and schedules; monitor portfolio profitability and resource utilization to ensure financial health.
- Oversee vendor negotiations, contracts, and bid documentation; ensure compliance with project scopes, standards, and profitability goals.
- Mentor and support junior PMs and Coordinators, fostering accountability, growth, and high performance across the project management team.
- Facilitate collaboration across creative, strategy, architecture, fabrication, and production disciplines to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks early, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track and clients aligned.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, site visits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to fabrication standards, building codes, and safety requirements.
- Maintain accuracy in project planning and resource allocation, updating plans of record in Resource Guru and other PM tools (Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, Smartsheet etc.).
- Drive efficiency by contributing to the evolution of Elevate's project delivery processes, tools, and workflows, balancing creative agility with operational rigor.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- 5-10 years of professional experience managing experiential, architectural, or branded environment projects, with proven success delivering complex, high-impact work on time and within budget.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams that may include designers, architects, fabricators, contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large project budgets ($1M+) and oversee portfolio-level financial performance.
- Strong record of client engagement and growth, including building long-term relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and supervising project managers and coordinators to build high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with wayfinding, venue environments, and large-scale brand integration projects is highly valued.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Airtable, Smartsheets, Airtable); working knowledge of design and construction software (Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification preferred but not required.

- Team Development: Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching junior PMs and Coordinators; proven track record of building accountable, high-performing teams.
- Collaboration: Adept at coordinating across creative, strategy, architecture, fabrication, and production disciplines; fosters seamless communication across all stakeholders.
- Risk & Problem-Solving: Anticipates challenges, identifies risks early, and implements proactive solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Quality & Compliance: Familiarity with construction and fabrication processes; able to oversee QA, site reviews, and adherence to building codes and safety standards.
- Organizational & Communications Skills: Exceptional prioritization and time management skills; thrives in fast-paced, high-volume project environments. Advanced proficiency with presentation and collaboration tools (Miro, FigJam, Keynote) for client-facing deliverables.
Nice-to-have Skills
- UI/UX or Collaboration Tools (Miro, Figjam etc.)
- Knowledge of AV/technology integration (LED displays, interactive media, digital installations) within branded environments.
- Familiarity with emerging project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, hybrid approaches) in creative contexts.
- Ability to contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, scoping, and pricing.
Working Conditions
- Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
- Ability to travel as needed (~10 to 20%)
