Job Title: Marketing Operations Specialist
Location: Remote (U.S.-based only; Eastern Time preferred)
Type: Contractor or Full-Time
Compensation: $60,000–$75,000/year, depending on experience
Who We Are-
Munch Studio redefines how business owners show up online. We don't just do "posting" or "content"—we own the mechanics, the voice, the timing, the strategy. We build, publish, analyze, and evolve so our clients don't have to fight the tech, reinvent the wheel, or guess what works.
We're not in the business of fluff. We're in the business of results. We believe consistency plus sharp strategy wins. We're scaling fast, pushing boundaries, and we need someone who's ready to take systems from "good enough" to "bulletproof."
About the Role-
We're looking for a tech-savvy, detail-obsessed Marketing Operations Specialist who loves making systems work smarter and smoother. If you're the kind of person who gets a kick out of building email campaigns, optimizing workflows, organizing data, and testing out new tools—this is the role for you.
This is a hands-on position. You'll be our go-to for the technical side of marketing: setting up and sending emails, managing contact data, building automations, pulling performance reports, supporting our affiliate programs, and constantly improving the systems we rely on every day.
You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing and have the opportunity to shape how our systems are built and optimized. If you like autonomy, ownership, and the chance to make real impact inside a growing business, you'll thrive here.
What You'll Do-
- Build, launch, and monitor all marketing emails, automations, and workflows
- Manage and maintain our contact databases and campaigns across:
- GoHighLevel – for top-of-funnel contacts, promotional emails, and SMS
- MoEngage – for client onboarding and ongoing communication
- WebinarJam – for running and optimizing live demo calls
- Be our in-house CRM expert, ensuring our systems are clean, updated, and efficient
- Test and help onboard new tools and tech as we evolve our stack
- Leverage AI tools to increase speed and productivity—while still being ready to get into the weeds manually when needed
- Aggregate and analyze marketing data from tools like Mixpanel and others
- Create and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance (email, campaign, funnel, etc.)
- Offer insights and optimization recommendations based on data trends
- Support the management of affiliate and partnership systems via , including tracking, payouts, and platform setup
- Collaborate across the team to streamline processes and improve our marketing engine
Who You Are-
- You're comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and autonomy is key
- You genuinely enjoy the behind-the-scenes work that keeps things running
- You're tech-savvy and data-driven, with a desire to keep learning and improving
- You take initiative, stay organized, and follow through without needing to be chased
- You can handle feedback, are open to direction, and are always looking for better ways to do things
- You bring new ideas to the table, especially around how we can better use AI and automation to work smarter
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years working in marketing operations, email marketing, or a similar role
- Experience with CRMs and marketing tools, especially GoHighLevel, MoEngage, and WebinarJam
- Familiarity with AI tools and how to apply them to boost efficiency
- Confident working with marketing performance data and pulling actionable insights
- Comfortable aggregating reports from tools like Mixpanel or similar platforms
- Experience supporting affiliate or partnership platforms preferred)
- Bonus: experience with Zapier, basic HTML/CSS, or light data wrangling
Why This Role Matters -
Marketing is only as strong as the systems behind it. When our automations fire correctly, our lists stay clean, our partnerships are tracked properly, and our performance reports are accurate and insightful, our team can focus on creating work that moves the needle. You'll be the engine behind that.
To Apply- We'd love to hear how you've helped systems run better, smarter, or faster in your past roles. Resumes are welcome, but real-world examples and context are even better.
